How the Tixoo app collects, uses, and protects your information, and how to permanently delete your Tixoo account.
About Tixoo
Tixoo is a smart event ticketing platform operated by Drix Entertainment Private Limited ("Drix", "we", "us", "our"). The Tixoo app lets you discover events, book and manage tickets, earn rewards, and gain entry to concerts, corporate events, college fests, and other live experiences.
This page is a combined document. The first part is our Privacy Policy. The second part explains how to delete your Tixoo account and data. Please read both before using the app. By creating a Tixoo account or using the app, you agree to the practices described here.
Quick summary. We collect the information needed to run your account, deliver your tickets, process payments, show nearby events, and keep the platform secure. We do not sell your personal data. You can ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing

Part 1: Tixoo Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information the Tixoo app collects, why we collect it, how we use and share it, how long we keep it, and the choices and rights you have. It applies to the Tixoo mobile app and any related services we provide.
1. Information we collect
We collect the following categories of information when you use Tixoo.
Account details
Your name, email address, and mobile phone number, and a profile photo if you add one.
Used to create and secure your account, identify you, and contact you about your bookings.
Booking and ticket history
Events you view and book, tickets purchased, order and invoice records, rewards earned and redeemed. Used to deliver your tickets, manage entry and validation, run the rewards programme, and provide support.
Payment information
Payments are processed by our third-party payment gateway. We receive a transaction reference and status. We do not store your full card number, CVV, or UPI credentials.
Used to process ticket payments securely and confirm your orders.
Location data
Approximate or precise location, when you grant permission, including device location signals. Used to show events and venues near you and improve local recommendations. You can turn this off in your device settings at any time.
Social and Google sign-in
If you sign in with Google or another social provider, we receive basic profile information such as your name, email address, and profile picture from that provider.
Used to let you log in quickly without a separate password.
Device and usage data
Device model, operating system, app version, language, IP address, device identifiers, crash logs, and how you use the app.Used to keep the app working, fix bugs, prevent fraud, and improve features and performance.
We collect this information directly from you, automatically through the app, and from third parties such as your sign-in provider, our payment gateway, and event organizers whose events you book.
2. How we use your information
Create, operate, and secure your Tixoo account.
Process bookings and payments, and deliver and validate your tickets.
Run the rewards programme and apply low-fee benefits.
Show you events and venues near you when location is enabled.
Provide customer support and respond to your requests.
Detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
Analyse usage to improve the app, fix issues, and build new features.
Send you service messages about your bookings, and, only with your consent, promotional updates about events. You can opt out of promotional messages at any time.
Comply with legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations.
3. How we share your information
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only as described below.
Event organizers. When you book an event, we share the booking details needed for entry, ticket validation, and event management with the organizer of that event.
Payment gateway. Payment data is handled by our third-party payment provider under their own security standards.
Service providers. Trusted vendors that help us run Tixoo, such as cloud hosting, analytics, crash reporting, and communication tools, acting on our instructions.
Legal and safety. Authorities, regulators, or other parties where required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of users, organizers, or Drix.
Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
4. Data retention
We keep your personal data only as long as needed for the purposes in this policy. While your account is active, we retain your account and booking information so the app can function. After you delete your account, we remove or anonymise your personal data, except where we must keep certain records to meet legal obligations.
Records we must keep. Transaction, invoice, and tax records are retained for the period required under applicable Indian tax and accounting law, currently up to eight years. These records are kept securely and are not used for marketing.
5. Data security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encryption of data in transit, access controls, and secure infrastructure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please keep your login credentials confidential.
6. Your rights and choices
Subject to applicable law, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can:
Access and review the personal data we hold about you.
Correct or update inaccurate or incomplete information.
Request deletion of your account and personal data. See Part 2 below.
Withdraw consent you previously gave, including location access and promotional messages.
Raise a grievance with our Grievance Officer.
To exercise any of these rights, email drixbackoffice@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
7. Children
Tixoo is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you are under 18, please use Tixoo only with the involvement of a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Permissions the app may request
Location. To show nearby events and venues. Optional.
Notifications. To send booking confirmations, entry reminders, and, with consent, event updates. Optional.
Camera or photos. Only if you scan a ticket QR code or add a profile photo. Optional.
You can grant or revoke these permissions any time in your device settings.
9. Third-party services and links
Tixoo relies on third parties such as your sign-in provider, our payment gateway, and analytics tools. The app may also link to event organizer pages or external sites. Their handling of your data is governed by their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review.
10. App store disclosures
Where Tixoo is distributed through the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store, the data practices described here are reflected in our Google Play Data Safety section and Apple App Privacy details. If there is any inconsistency, this Privacy Policy governs our actual practices.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Your continued use of Tixoo after an update means you accept the revised policy.
Part 2: How to delete your Tixoo account
You can ask us to permanently delete your Tixoo account and associated personal data at any time. We handle deletion requests by email so we can verify that the request is genuinely yours.
Step 1. Send an email from your registered address.
Email us from the same email address linked to your Tixoo account. This lets us confirm the request is from you.
Step 2. Write to drixbackoffice@gmail.com.
Use the subject line: Delete My Tixoo Account.
Step 3. Include your account details.
In the email, include your full name and the registered mobile number on your account so we can locate and verify it. You do not need to share any password.
Step 4. We confirm and complete the deletion.
We acknowledge your request within 3 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days, after verifying your identity.

What gets deleted
Once your request is verified and processed, we delete or anonymise:
Your account profile, including name, email, and phone number.
Your login credentials and social sign-in connection.
Your saved preferences, location settings, and device identifiers.
Your rewards balance and activity, which is forfeited on deletion.
Your booking history, except records we are legally required to keep.
What we keep, and why
We retain a limited set of records after deletion only where the law requires it:
Transaction, invoice, and tax records, for the period required under Indian tax and accounting law, currently up to eight years. These are stored securely and are not used for any other purpose.
Anonymised analytics that can no longer identify you.
Before you delete. Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone. Any upcoming or unused tickets and your rewards balance may be forfeited. If you have a ticket for an event you still plan to attend, please use or transfer it before requesting deletion. For help with a specific booking, contact us first.
Deletion timeline
Acknowledgement: within 3 business days of your email.
Completion: within 30 days of verification.
Backups: residual copies in secure backups are removed within our standard backup cycle, no later than 90 days.
